Audrey Shachnow

Audrey Shachnow is a lifelong New Yorker with a distinguished career in the arts. Audrey spent decades as a leading art director in Manhattan’s publishing scene. She held influential roles at iconic institutions such as Rolling Stone, CBS Records, Atlantic Records, Condé Nast, The New York Times Sunday Magazine, The Village Voice, and Scholastic, where she served as Design Director of the magazine division.

While excelling in publishing, Audrey pursued her passion for painting, studying with Maxime Bugzester. In 2000, she transitioned to a full-time career in fine art, focusing on painting and sculpture. She attended the New York Studio School, studying intensively under Graham Nickson.

Audrey lives and works in the Berkshires.
