Linda Pochesci

Pochesci is drawn to architectural forms and how they form a narrative about time, place and memory. She constructs her work out of her everyday surroundings. The artist takes elements of different realities and place them together so that they create a new reality.

She recently did a series of paintings related to the Italian hill towns that her grandparents emigrated from at the beginning of the 20th century. She was awarded a Pollock-Krasner grant to fund the trips and the materials to accomplish this important series.

Linda lives and works in Boston.
